Office Hours Policy

Purpose

Define Blinto's normal office working schedule and workday routine.

This policy defines when the normal workday operates. Attendance tracking belongs in Attendance Policy, and work beyond normal hours belongs in Overtime Policy.

Standard Office Schedule

Office hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Breakfast window: 8:30–8:45 AM.

Daily stand-up: 9:00 AM.

The normal arrival window is 8:30–8:45 AM. How late arrival is recorded and managed is defined in Attendance Policy.

Breaks

The normal working day includes up to 1.5 hours of total break time, including applicable meal, prayer, personal breaks, and the breakfast routine.

Teams should coordinate breaks so client commitments, meetings, support coverage, and delivery are not unnecessarily disrupted.

Workday Expectations

Team members should organize normal work within the standard office schedule and remain reasonably available for their responsibilities, planned meetings, collaboration, and client commitments during the workday.

Performance is not measured by how late someone remains at work. Leads should plan workload, capacity, and deadlines so the standard workday remains the normal operating model.

Work required beyond the applicable normal schedule must follow Overtime Policy.

Schedule Exceptions

Approved leave, remote-work arrangements, recurring schedule accommodations, emergencies, and other authorized exceptions may alter a person's normal schedule.

A recurring schedule change should be approved through the applicable People Operations process rather than informally becoming a permanent alternative schedule.

Responsibilities

Team members are responsible for understanding and following their applicable working schedule.

Team/Department Leads are responsible for planning work around normal office hours and coordinating team coverage.

People Operations maintains the company-wide working-hours standard and coordinates approved recurring exceptions.
